Ahmad Borhani is a well-recognized maestro of Persian-Iranian instruments, and he and his ensembles are in constant demand in the Baltimore/ Washington metropolitan region. He hails from Iran and holds degrees in the arts/music from Tehran and Mashhad Universities. Maestro Borhani established the Institution for Persian-Iranian Music Studies in Baltimore in 1985 and maintains an active career as performer, composer, conductor and teacher.
