Distinguished Alumnus
The Alumni Association recognizes the professional and volunteer achievements of CCBC graduates.We recognize Distinguished Alumni who have:
- Graduated with a CCBC degree or certificate program at least ten years prior to their nomination, achieved significant career success, including peer recognition in their field.
- Maintained or re-established their connection with CCBC through volunteer activity, or who have unofficially promoted the benefits of a CCBC education.
- Demonstrated a commitment to the community through public service, which brings credit to CCBC.
- Are exemplary role models for current students.
Eligibility
Any member of the CCBC Alumni Association and/or graduate of the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) including then Catonsville, Essex or Dundalk Community College may be selected by the committee to receive a Distinguished Alumni Award. Individuals running for elected office during their active campaign period or a current alumni board member will not be considered.Nomination and Selection
Any member of the CCBC community (alumni, faculty, students, administrators or support staff) may nominate a qualified person for the Distinguished Alumni Award. The nomination must be made in writing and submitted to the Alumni Relations Office for consideration.Awardees
