Distinguished Alumnus

The Alumni Association recognizes the professional and volunteer achievements of CCBC graduates.

We recognize Distinguished Alumni who have:

  • Graduated with a CCBC degree or certificate program at least ten years prior to their nomination, achieved significant career success, including peer recognition in their field.
  • Maintained or re-established their connection with CCBC through volunteer activity, or who have unofficially promoted the benefits of a CCBC education.
  • Demonstrated a commitment to the community through public service, which brings credit to CCBC.
  • Are exemplary role models for current students.

Any member of the CCBC Alumni Association and/or graduate of the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) including then Catonsville, Essex or Dundalk Community College may be selected by the committee to receive a Distinguished Alumni Award. Individuals running for elected office during their active campaign period or a current alumni board member will not be considered.
