AHE 932 Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

Health Care Providers

AHE 805 CPR for Health Care Providers

CPR for Health Care Providers is designed for existing healthcare professionals and allied health students who provide care to patients in both in-facility and prehospital settings. Learn to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations using a barrier device, and provide early use of an AED. This course includes training in both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills. Successful completers earn an American Heart Association(AHA) BLS Provider CPR card valid for two years.


AHL 250 - BLS Provider 

CPR for Health Care Providers is designed for existing healthcare professionals and allied health students who provide care to patients in both in-facility and prehospital settings. Learn to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations using a barrier device, and provide early use of an AED. This course includes training in both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills. This course is a hybrid version of AHE 805: CPR for Health Care Providers. Students must complete an online module prior to the scheduled in-person skills demonstration and testing. Successful completers earn an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider CPR card valid for two years.

Infants and Young Children

CPS 001 CPR and First Aid for Infants and Young Children

Designed for childcare providers, this offers instruction in home safety tips and how to perform CPR on infants and young children. Successful students will receive an American Heart Association CPR card. Written and skills evaluation required.
