Introduction to MIS
CSIT 142
Introduces students to Management Information Systems (MIS) from the business professional's perspective. Students learn how MIS supports organizational strategy, collaboration, competitive advantage, decision making and global commerce. Other topics discussed are systems development, systems management, outsourcing, security and ethical issues. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
