Construction Safety and Health
CONT 142
Includes an overview of the hazards and controls of various phases of construction. Appropriate Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards and requirements for safe workplaces are reviewed. Students become familiar with updated regulations and planning techniques for safety in the construction process. Formerly OSHT 121, earn credit for one only.Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
