A+ Certificate, Credit Certificate
The program prepares students for the industry recognized CompTIA A+ certification exams and validates the latest skills needed by today's computer support professionals. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors, and resellers. The Certificate program confirms a technician's ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance, and basic networking. The exams also cover domains such as security, safety and environmental issues and communication and professionalism.
Program objectives
Upon completion of this certificate, students will be able to:
- set up and maintain computer systems hardware and software configuration;
- manage system drivers and peripherals, network configuration, and system troubleshooting;
- diagnose and repair physical and software issues both in person and remotely;
- take the CompTIA A+ certification exam.
