CCBC Planetarium opens fall season with new shows

The Benjamin Banneker Planetarium at CCBC Catonsville opens its fall season Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23 with two new shows.

UFOs: Mysteries of the Skies” will be shown 7-9 p.m. Friday Oct. 22. Join one of the top UFO experts in the country, Rob Swiatek, as well as CCBC/UMBC professor Dr. S. Peter Resta as they discuss this fascinating enigma. This is a two-hour event with a break.

Children and families can enjoy “Space Witch” at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 as they follow Tilly Ipswitch and her cat, Kit, as they fly through space looking for fun around Halloween.

All planetarium shows are FREE and open to the public. Attendance for all shows is by reservation only. 

Shows are held in Room 030A (Benjamin Banneker Planetarium), located in the Mathematics and Science Hall building at CCBC Catonsville. Please call 443.840.4216 to reserve your seat in advance.
